Fiber Fiction Friday/Saturday 10-5pm Teaching outside of her studio and her on-line classes for the very first time ever, mixed media fiber artist KC Willis is excited to offer a fun and inspirational two-day class showing all her collage secrets. From techniques to age your work, to developing an eye with texture and color in mind and learning how to "listen" to your work, KC will show you how to make your fabric collage speak. You will create a 16x20 fabric collage using a favorite image. You can bring some of your special fabrics and trims if you'd like, but the special kits that KC will be putting together for the class will have a selection of new and vintage fabrics, trims and doo-dads...everything you will need to create your piece of art. A fun writing exercise to put words into the mouth of your collage subject will help make your piece a storyteller.
