0814 - Color Wheel Journal Quilt

$140.00

Color Wheel Journal Quilt
Friday 10-5pm

Color! (I even want to roll in the word!). This class is all about mixing colors, combining colors and fearlessly spinning the wheel and spilling watercolors and inks. The main techniques you’ll learn is mixing color for both vibrant and quiet hues, pen resists and debossing. The resulting 4”x6” papers will be used to construct your Journal Quilt.

The afternoon will be spent putting the quilt together.  We’ll take some time to explore color combinations and journal about them. Through prompts and games, you’ll combine your colored papers in unexpected ways.

The final quilt will be an excellent source of color inspiration to hang in your studio. You will gain confidence in both combining and mixing colors today and develop a sense of which colors really are speaking to you.
