Waxing Wonders - the art of encaustics Sunday 10:30 - 5:30pm Suze will really raise your level of excitement about working with Beeswax as she shows you how to create an amazing collage on wood by building up layers of real encaustic medium, The Melting Pot, Perfect Pearls, Pan Pastels and the fine art of using a torch ! All levels are invited...nothing intimidating about this and everyone will walk out with a great finished piece. Supply List: 1.An apron 2. a heat gun or a small torch (like a creme brulee size) that they KNOW HOW TO USE plus the butane for it. We can't use class time trying to figure that out. They will love the effects of the torch so I encourage them to try it. 3. photocopy collage images that they might want to use. I will also supply. 4. and any small standard items like stamps, scissors, knife, embellishments, etc. 5. an old credit card or a Ranger craft scraper or something similar to scrape wax
