0704 - Which Witch Are YOU?

In this class you must decide "Which Witch Are You"! You may find yourself on the "wicked side". You may find yourself on the "good" side. You may find yourself on the "wickedly good" side.  It's your choice. 

In this class it's all about techniques. We will wire armature your dolls legs so that she will stand on her own. You will do light needle sculpting for voluptuous breasts. She has a clay face for embellishing and painting. We will also embellish our doll using Paverpol(tm) to enhance certain features of the doll. And as a added feature you will be able to make her Flying Monkey pet complete with wings and a beautiful jewel encrusted collar! If you how how to do a running stitch on the sewing machine, I will take you through each simple technique to create your own unique masterpiece. Beginners are welcome.

Wire (for armature)
Powdered Makeup

1/4 yd muslin for body
1/4 yd fabric for shirt
1/4 yd fabric for skirt
1/4 yd of cotton or doe (deer) suede flesh colored fabric for head, arms and legs
1/4 yd of white 4 way stretch jersey fabric for painting
Hair
Eyelashes(short length)
Paint (flesh colored for face and body. It should match arms and legs)
(2) Sponge paint brushes
Paint brush size 3/0 or 0/0
Fine tip marker in brown and black (can use Pigma(tm) micron)
Fiberfill stuffing (16oz) Polyfil, Fairfield, Walmart brand are good stuffings
Glue (Grrrip(tm)  or the Ultimate(tm) glue can be purchased at Dollmakers Journey or other doll suppliers online.
10 chenille stems (or pipe cleaners) for fingers
 
Basic Dollmaking Kit
Sewing Machine
Paper Scissors
Fabric Scissors
Threads to match body and fabrics
Strong thread to attach body together
Hemostat, stuffing fork or stuffing stick (your preference)
5" doll needle
Sewing machine is needed (but I will have one)
