The Lullabye League - Bringing the Doll to Life!

This class focuses on developing the doll’s personality through mixed media and embellishment. Each Student should come with a plan / drawing of who their doll will be! We will explore color and texture using Fabrics, paper, metal findings, gems acrylics, pigment powders, inks leafing and many other types of mediums! Students will clothe and accessorize their creations with hats, crowns, wings, etc. they’ll make in class…including teeny baby dolls and pets! My goal as an instructor will be to help make your tiny doll come “alive” with style and personality employing a wide range of techniques.

Use of mediums, glues inks, paints, pigment powders whatever!
Supply List:
A drawing or written plan of who they want their doll to be
Scissors, pins , pencil
Your choice of fabrics for clothing (small pieces)…I will also have fabric to share just in case your plan changes!!!
Anything that helps you work small Ex: magnifier glasses , Ott light
A sewing machine if possible….But I will have 2 machines to share.
