The Lullabye League - Creating a Tiny Paperclay Doll Saturday 10-5pm
In This class we will Create a small 5-7 inch paperclay doll with a simple cloth Torso. We will sculpt the Head, Bodice and Limbs from paperclay. For students who have no previous sculpting experience …I have molds available to work from… (Molds are an excellent learning tool!) After Sanding and painting all paperclay parts , We will focus on making the eyes “alive” adding shine and sparkle! And protecting the painted face…giving it a nice finish! If Time permits, we will “Wig” the doll.
In order for us to get through the doll in one day…I will provide a tiny pre made sculls and bodice armatures. I will also have the tiny pre made fabric bodies. Each student receives an instructional booklet including pictures and body patterns to take home for their Doll making Journey to continue!
